Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an experienced Lifestyle Coordinator to join our residential aged care facility in Parkville. You will design and deliver engaging activities that promote residents' physical, mental and social wellbeing, while coordinating with residents, families and staff to tailor programs to individual preferences.

You will lead and schedule events, support the Volunteer Program, monitor outcomes, maintain records and provide regular reports to management.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care settings and delivering lifestyle activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to design inclusive programs for diverse residents.
• Ability to adapt programs for physical or cognitive needs.
• Teamwork and leadership in multidisciplinary environments.
• Strong administrative and computer skills.
• Passion for events, social activities or community work.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver a diverse range of lifestyle programs for residents.
• Collaborate with residents, families and staff to tailor activities.
• Coordinate scheduling and resources for events.
• Monitor program effectiveness and report outcomes to management.
• Support the Volunteer Program to enhance resident experiences.
• Integrate lifestyle activities with residents’ care plans.
