Mercy Health is seeking a casual Lifestyle Assistant to join our care teams at Mercy Place Keon Park (Reservoir) and Mercy Place Templestowe. You will help plan and run wellbeing activities, support the Lifestyle Coordinator, and work with residents to understand their lifestyle plans while documenting progress.

The role requires strong time management, excellent communication, empathy, and flexibility. Evidence of a police check and a Cert IV in Leisure & Lifestyle are expected, with training

Aufgaben

• Assist with delivery of recreational and social programs to enhance residents’ wellbeing.
• Support Lifestyle Coordinator with program planning and orientation of new team members.
• Work individually with residents in line with their lifestyle plans and document progress.
• Ensure programs meet residents’ needs and accreditation standards.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and encourage community involvement.
• Demonstrate understanding of cognitive, social and spiritual needs of residents and their families.
