Job summary

Melba’s Chocolates in Woodside, Adelaide Hills, seeks a highly engaged Weekend Supervisor to lead our retail, coffee shop and production teams during weekend operations. This permanent part-time role requires Sundays and Mondays (including Public Holidays), plus every 5th full weekend, with potential for increased hours in the future.

You will drive team leadership, customer service excellence, and smooth operational flow across busy periods, while upholding quality and a welcoming visitor

Qualifications

• Experience leading hospitality or retail teams.
• Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.
• Barista experience is a plus but not mandatory.

We’re seeking a highly engaged, positive, and leadership-focused Weekend Supervisor to join our team at Melba’s Chocolates in Woodside, Adelaide Hills.

This is a permanent part-time role responsible for leading our retail, coffee shop, and production teams during weekend operations. You will work Sundays and Mondays (including Public Holidays), plus every 5th full weekend, with the potential for increased hours in the future.

Do you have?

A proven track record of managing people within a hospitality, retail, or tourism setting. You should possess a strong background in customer service, a high level of attention to detail, and a professional, well-presented “can-do” attitude. An interest in the tourism industry and prior Barista experience will be highly regarded.

You will be responsible for leading the following key areas:

• Team Leadership: Supervising and motivating retail, coffee shop, and production staff to ensure seamless weekend operations
• Customer Service Excellence: Maintaining high standards of service and engagement for all visitors.
• Operational Flow: Managing the floor effectively during peak periods and handling fast-paced shifts with ease.
