Down Under Tours Australia is seeking a Reservations & Operations Consultant to join our team in the Cairns region. You will manage email bookings, take calls, and coordinate vehicle and driver schedules to ensure smooth daily operations.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced tourism environment. Weekend work is required, with emphasis on accuracy and reliability across reservations and dispatch.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport logistics or tourism industry.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and quick to learn new systems.

Responsabilités

• Enter email bookings and handle inquiries and new bookings.
• Schedule vehicles and drivers accurately.
• Prepare and distribute driver paperwork and maintain day-long communications.
• Coordinate daily operations and manage delays with contingency planning.
• Complete daily checklists and monitor checkpoint times.
• Update daily driver schedules ensuring compliance and preferences.
