Job summary

IDP Education in Geelong is seeking an IELTS Operations Assistant to support the delivery of IELTS testing services and ensure a positive customer experience throughout the testing process. This casual role covers pre-test, test day and post-test activities while upholding IELTS standards and security procedures.

Shifts are Saturdays, with roughly two to three shifts per month, requiring strong organisational and service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive an outstanding experience before, during and after the test in person.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide advice relating to official IELTS preparation tools and IDP services.
• Support clients from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
• Contribute to a supportive, innovative and customer-focused team culture.
• Manage test day activities including customer registration and supervision of the test.
• Prepare test day documents.
• Update digital databases and records.
• Oversee and update the schedule of Speaking tests.
• Ensure proper management of secure and confidential materials.
• Troubleshoot technical systems including hardware and software platforms.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and best practice initiatives.
• Ensure all pre-test, test day and post-test activities meet IELTS standards.
• Maintain security and confidentiality when entering, storing, updating and accessing data.
• Respond to incidents or potential security risks.
• Complete required training policy acknowledgments.
• Carry out work professionally in accordance with organisational values.
