Job summary

Turbo Scaffolding is an Australian scaffolding supplier seeking a Web Administrator to design, maintain and improve our websites and web-based systems. You will manage content, ensure usability, and oversee security and backups from our Smithfield office.

The role requires a Diploma or higher in IT/Web Development, at least 2 years in website administration, and strong knowledge of HTML/CSS and CMS tools. Hybrid work or remote options are not indicated; on-site duties will be at 4 Britton

Qualifications

• A relevant Diploma qualification or higher (preferably a Bachelor's degree) in Information Technology, Web Development, Website Design, Digital Technologies or a closely related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in website administration, web development, website maintenance or a closely related role.
• Practical experience designing, maintaining and updating websites.
• Experience using content management systems and website administration tools.
• Knowledge of website hosting, domain management, website security and backup processes.
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS and related website development tools.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve website-related technical issues.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate and consistent online content.

Job Description

Turbo Scaffolding is an established Australian supplier of scaffolding products and related equipment to the construction industry. We are seeking an experienced Web Administrator to manage, maintain and improve our company websites and associated web-based systems.

About the Role

The Web Administrator will be responsible for the ongoing design, development, maintenance and administration of Turbo Scaffolding's websites and web-based content. The role will involve maintaining website structure and functionality, updating online information and product content, monitoring website performance, resolving technical issues and implementing improvements to enhance usability and reliability.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain and update company websites to ensure they remain functional, accessible, visually consistent and responsive across different devices and browsers.
• Maintain website structure, page layouts, navigation, online forms and other web-based features in accordance with business and user requirements.
• Administer website content management systems and regularly update product information, images, specifications, company information and other digital content.
• Monitor website performance, availability and functionality, and investigate and resolve website errors, broken links, compatibility issues and other technical problems.
• Implement website updates, enhancements and configuration changes, and test changes before deployment to ensure proper functionality and minimise disruption.
• Maintain website security by applying updates, managing user access, monitoring vulnerabilities and supporting appropriate backup and recovery procedures.
• Analyse website usage and performance data to identify opportunities to improve website speed, navigation, accessibility and overall user experience.
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders regarding website improvements, technical issues, hosting and ongoing web-support requirements.
