Job summary

GBST is seeking a Software Engineer for the Australia Production Support team to ensure stability and reliability of wealth management platforms. You will investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams to resolve complex issues in live client environments.

The role requires experience with Java applications, SQL, APIs, and cloud-based environments (AWS), with strong communication to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis in production environments.
• Experience with Java enterprise applications and SQL data analysis.
• Knowledge of APIs, web services and system integrations.
• Experience with cloud-based environments, preferably AWS.
• Excellent communication with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Investigating and resolving complex production incidents across client environments.
• Performing root cause analysis and delivering detailed findings to development teams.
• Analyzing logs to identify issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Supporting deployments, upgrades and client testing including UAT.
• Collaborating with developers, analysts and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
• Contributing to improvements in reliability, monitoring and support processes.
• Participating in incident response and after-hours support as needed.
