Job summary

LGT Wealth Management Limited is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer on a 12-month fixed term contract to join the Technology Services Infrastructure team in Australia. You will maintain and support core infrastructure across Windows and Linux, Azure, Entra ID and M365, while driving automation and proactive monitoring to improve reliability.

Responsibilities include incident resolution, production deployments, patching and disaster recovery testing, with a strong emphasis on scripting

Qualifications

4+ years of enterprise infrastructure operations experience.
Strong Windows Server administration with AD, GP, DNS, DHCP.
Hands-on Azure, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID experience.
Networking expertise across LAN/VLAN/Wi‑Fi and firewall workflows.
Backup, recovery, DR, monitoring, incident response experience.
PowerShell or Python scripting for automation.
Good documentation and communication; able to work independently.
Preferred Linux administration and container platforms (OpenShift/Kubernetes/Docker).
CI/CD and IaC tools: Ansible, Terraform, GitLab, ArgoCD.
Experience with financial services apps and hybrid operating model.
Familiarity with certificate management and capacity monitoring.

Responsibilities

Maintain and support core infrastructure across Windows and Linux, Azure, M365, Entra ID, file services, networking, backups, monitoring and data centres.
Administer access and identity services, including SaaS integrations using SAML, OIDC and SCIM.
Resolve infrastructure, application and integration incidents; provide second-/third-level support.
Support production deployments, environment readiness, scheduled jobs, integration services and handovers.
Deliver patching, vulnerability remediation, certificates, backups and DR testing.
Improve reliability via scripting, automation, monitoring, documentation and knowledge sharing.
Collaborate with local, group and senior teams on incidents, changes and projects in a hybrid model.
