Job summary

CommBank is seeking a Manager Line 1 Risk, Wealth and Private to join the Insurance Retail & Advice Partnerships team. You will partner with Wealth Partnerships to provide practical risk guidance, identify and monitor incidents, and design controls to protect customers while supporting risk governance activities.

The role emphasizes collaborative leadership and strong stakeholder engagement in a dynamic banking environment.

Qualifications

Experience in risk advisory, operational risk, compliance, governance or controls management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Commercial acumen and the ability to balance risk outcomes with business objectives.

Responsibilities

Partner with stakeholders across Wealth Partnerships to provide practical risk advice and guidance.
Identify, monitor and support the resolution of incidents, issues and emerging risks.
Challenge existing processes and drive continuous improvement in risk management practices.
Design and strengthen controls that protect customers and improve business outcomes.
Support risk governance activities, including risk profiling, monitoring and reporting.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to manage risk across multiple products and customer solutions.
Help leaders make informed decisions through balanced commercial and risk-based recommendations.
