Job summary

Macquarie Group’s Banking and Financial Services division seeks an Associate Manager/Manager in Wealth and Enterprise Risk Advisory. You will partner with colleagues across wealth management and enterprise ecosystems to provide operational risk advice and support critical risk initiatives.

The role focuses on obligation management mapping, risk approvals, control enhancements, and strengthening the risk framework within a complex, dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Operational Risk Management within Wealth Management or Enterprise functions (e.g. Treasury and Regulatory Reporting).
• A strong grasp of operational risk management practices and frameworks, including principles of effective control design.
• Proven ability to build and influence relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
• Keen attention to detail and a strategic, creative approach to problem-solving.
• Experience with obligations management mapping Wealth Management or Enterprise functions (e.g. Treasury and Regulatory Reporting) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with colleagues across wealth management and enterprise ecosystems to provide operational risk advice.
• Support the delivery of critical projects and obligation management mapping across the business.
• Contribute to risk management activities such as risk approvals and control enhancements.
• Work with diverse stakeholders to assess and monitor risk performance.
• Strengthen and evolve risk management practices to build a robust framework in a dynamic environment.
