Keppel Bay Sailing Club is seeking a proactive Functions Coordinator to convert enquiries into memorable events at our iconic waterfront venue. You will collaborate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver weddings, corporate functions, and club events that exceed expectations.

Qualifications

• RSA and food safety certifications are required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in event or function coordination.
• Leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience in clubs, hospitality or events is a bonus.
• Knowledge of community engagement and membership-based organisations.

Responsibilities

• Managing function enquiries, site inspections and client consultations.
• Preparing quotes, contracts and event confirmations.
• Creating detailed run sheets and function briefs.
• Acting as the key contact for clients before, during and after events.
• Ensuring every function runs smoothly and professionally.
• Coordinating event staff during setup, service and pack down.
• Managing bookings, contracts, invoicing and reconciliations.
• Monitoring event profitability and budgets.
• Assisting with promotional campaigns and function marketing initiatives.
