Snowy Monaro Regional Council is seeking a Duty operations relief for Water and Wastewater Plants, Reservoirs and pump stations. You will maintain records, read drawings, conduct water quality testing and keep facilities in good condition.

You must have a Construction Induction White Card and pursue certifications in Water & Wastewater, Fluoride Operators, and High Pressure Jetting. On-call, weekend work and ongoing safety training are part of the role.

Competenze

• Construction Induction White Card
• Willign to complete Water & Wastewater certification (Part 1 & 2)
• Willing to complete NSW Dept of Health Fluoride Operators Certificate
• High Pressure Water Jetting certification or willingness
• Experience in Water & Wastewater operations and maintenance
• Ability to operate small plant including lawnmowers and pumps
• Confined spaces training and refresher courses
• Physically fit and able to work in a team
• Commitment to WHS and safety rules
• Willing to undertake ongoing training

• Duty operations relief for Water and Wastewater plants, reservoirs and pump stations
• Maintain records in electronic and paper environments
• Read Water & Wastewater drawings and update drawings
• Water & Wastewater quality testing & sampling
• Maintenance of Water and Wastewater facilities within the Council area
• Respond to rostered on-call and emergency callouts; weekend work as rostered
• Demonstrate commitment to WHS policy in the workplace
• Acquire, process and document water data in electronic and hard copy formats
• Liaise with supervisor to meet legislative requirements
