Job summary

Tweed Shire Council in the NSW Far North Coast region is seeking a Civil Engineer to support planning, design and delivery of water supply and sewerage infrastructure across multiple units within the Engineering Division. You will gain broad exposure through rotational opportunities and engage with consultants, contractors and community stakeholders.

The role offers development opportunities, flexible work options, and a base salary with competency-based increments up to $117,528 per annum plus

Qualifications

• Qualified Civil Engineer with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and eligibility for Engineers Australia, or equivalent technical experience.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, policy, design, construction, and operations relating to water supply and sewerage services.
• Provide support to Senior Engineers, Coordinators and Managers in diverse areas.
• Build communication and stakeholder engagement skills through regular interaction with consultants, contractors, Councillors, staff and community members.
• Contribute to performance, training and development activities with opportunities for higher duties.
