Job summary

Snowy Monaro Regional Council seeks a reliable Water & Wastewater Operator to support treatment plants, reservoirs and pump stations. You will maintain records, read drawings, perform QA sampling and support safety and efficiency across the network.

Qualifications

• Water & wastewater operations experience and maintenance.
• Ability to read water and wastewater drawings and update documents.
• Proven commitment to WHS and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Duty operations relief for water and wastewater plants, reservoirs and pump stations.
• Maintain electronic and paper records.
• Read and update water and wastewater drawings; perform quality testing and sampling.
• Maintain treatment plants and pump stations.
• Be available for on-call rosters and weekend work.
• Demonstrate commitment to council WHS policy and safety.
