Nambucca Valley Council is looking for a reliable, self-motivated Water Meter Officer to join our Water and Sewerage team.
This is a hands-on role that will see you travelling throughout the beautiful Nambucca Valley, reading and replacing water meters, investigating unusual water usage and helping Council transition to smart meter technology.
You’ll be out and about most days, managing your own routes and playing an important part in delivering an essential service to our community. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Water meter reading - Planning and completing daily routes to read residential and commercial water meters.
Meter replacements - Replacing existing 20mm and 25mm water meters as part of Council's renewal program.
