AECOM’s Water Infrastructure team is seeking an inspiring and collaborative Team Manager to join our Cairns office. This role blends technical leadership with people management, working with experts across Australia, New Zealand and our global network, building meaningful connections and shaping a rewarding long-term career.

The successful candidate will mentor engineers, lead client engagements, and foster a safe, high-performing culture while steering delivery and growth of water

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, with CPEng and/or RPEQ.
• Demonstrated experience within the water infrastructure industry and a consulting environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an ability build relationships and engage with a diverse range of stakeholders at varying levels.
• A passion for mentoring, leadership & collaboration.
• Commercial and strategic acumen, with the ability to make informed decisions that balance profitability, efficiency, and market insight.
