Job summary

Synergie Australia is seeking a reliable Waste Sorter / Bin Runner to join a recycling facility in Melbourne CBD. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to become permanent for the right person.

You will collect and move recycling bins, sort recycling into correct waste streams, operate basic recycling equipment such as balers, and assist with bins and compactors as required. General cleaning and housekeeping of the facility, plus a current licence and PPE are required; forklift licence is

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit and able to perform manual handling.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and attendance.
• Able to consistently start at 5:30am.
• Current driver’s licence and able to wear required PPE, including hi-vis and steel-capped boots.
• Waste/recycling experience or forklift licence advantageous, but not essential.

What’s on offer

• $38.44 per hour
• Monday to Friday, 5:30am – 1:30pm
