Job summary

RGIT Australia seeks reliable team members to join our Burton recycling facility. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role sorting incoming construction and demolition waste and separating recyclable materials.

Applicants should be reliable, physically fit, safety-conscious and take pride in their work. Hours: Mon-Fri, with Saturday work when required. Right to work in Australia and a pre-employment drug/alcohol test may be required; a White Card is an advantage.

• Experience in waste or labouring is an advantage, but not essential.
• Must have right to work in Australia and pass a drug/alcohol test.
• A White Card is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Sort incoming waste in the picking station.
• Work around trucks, machinery and mobile plant.
• Keep the work area clean and tidy.
• Follow site safety rules.
• Report hazards or damaged equipment or unsafe conditions.
• Help with general site tasks as required.
• Work with the team to get the job done.

This is a hands-on, physically demanding role working in our skip waste sorting area. The position involves sorting incoming construction and demolition waste and separating recyclable materials.

We are looking for individuals who are reliable, physically fit, safety-conscious and take pride in their work.

The Job

• Sort incoming waste in the picking station
• Work around trucks, machinery and mobile plant
• Keep the work area clean and tidy
• Follow site safety rules
• Report any hazards, damaged equipment or unsafe conditions
• Help with general work around the site when required
• Work with the rest of the team to get the job done

What We are Looking For

We're after someone who:

• Turns up on time and is reliable
• Is fit and doesn't mind physical work
• Can do repetitive work throughout the day
• Follows instructions and takes safety seriously
• Can work on their own and as part of a team

Experience in waste, recycling or labouring is an advantage, but it's not essential.

You must have the right to work in Australia and be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

A White Card is an advantage.

Hours

Monday to Friday, with Saturday work when required.
