Job summary

Knauf Australia is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Chullora, NSW. You will lead and develop a small team on your shift, drive safety, quality and productivity, and ensure targets are met daily.

You will manage stocktakes, pack orders, report issues, and support continuous improvement across the site. A forklift licence, Police check, and Australian working rights are required; the role is Mon-Fri 6am-3pm with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Full and unrestricted Australian working rights.

• Experience in distribution & logistics.
• Experience using Microsoft Office.
• Be physically fit and able to perform manual handling.
• Successful completion of pre-employment medical.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop staff on your allocated shift to meet targets.
• Assist in training and development of new team members.
• Manage stocktake/inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
• Record and report customer complaints per procedures.
• Pick and pack customer orders.
• Maintain equipment and report faults to management.
• Drive continuous improvement and monitor KPI data.
• Uphold Occupational Health & Safety standards and perform preventative maintenance.

About the Role

As a Shift Supervisor, you will have the responsibility for managing staff on your allocated shift and ensuring that operational targets are consistently achieved.

Some tasks as part of this role include:

• Supporting the training and development of new team members to ensure they understand and deliver our high standards of customer service and safety
• Manage stocktake / inventory counts process to ensure accurate inventory records are maintained
• Record and report any customer complaints to the Trade Stores Manager regarding product and / or service via Knauf's complaint and customer procedures
• Picking & Packing customer orders
• Maintain operational equipment and report any faults or damage to management
• Accountable for continuous improvement at the site
• Occupational Health & Safety and preventative maintenance
• Assist in analysing KPI and stock-keeping data, identifying issues, and preparing reports for resolution and action

About You

• Prior experience within the Distribution & logistics Industry
• Experience using Microsoft office
