Job summary

Lindsay Transport, part of Lindsay Australia, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our afternoon cross-dock and warehouse operations in Melbourne. You will manage a hands-on team of up to 10 staff and drivers, ensuring on-time freight movement while upholding safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

Lindsay Transport is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our afternoon cross-dock and warehouse operations.

This role suits a hands-on leader who can keep freight moving while maintaining safe, reliable operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will support and develop your team while overseeing local and interstate loading and unloading to ensure schedules are met accurately and efficiently.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and support a team of up to 10 warehouse staff and forklift drivers.
• Coordinate loading, unloading, stock control and freight consolidation.
• Keep freight moving safely, accurately and on schedule.
• Manage workflow, reporting and changing operational priorities.
• Drive a strong safety culture and hold the team accountable.

What You'll Bring:

• Proven experience within a HACCP-accredited refrigerated operation.
• Experience in freight handling and the accurate documentation of freight movements.
• Strong leadership, planning and problem-solving capabilities.
• Sound computer skills and experience in transport management system (ideally Truckmate)
• High attention to detail.
• A hands-on commitment to safety, effective communication and team performance.
• A current and valid forklift licence.
