Job summary

• Current forklift licence (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute daily warehousing activities.
• Ensure receipt, storage and dispatch of parts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Uphold workplace health and safety and CoR requirements.
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup.
• Receive and process warehouse stock and locate in store.
• Conduct rolling cycle counts and stock takes.
• Ensure timely processing and dispatch of customer orders.

About the Role

As a Warehouse Operator, your main responsibility is to coordinate and execute the daily warehousing activities for our business. The role involves ensuring that the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of our parts, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring that workplace health and safety and Chain of Responsibility requirements are met.

Key Accountabilities

• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
• Ensure obligations under the National Heavy Vehicle Law, Chain of Responsibility (CoR) are adhered to
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick stock, unload trucks, containers and crates, label stock, and locate in store)
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Conduct pre-start checks and operate warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Ensure customer orders are processed and dispatched in a timely manner
• Conduct rolling cycle counts and prescribed stock takes as required
• Monitor and respond to notifications of incomplete or short-supplied orders, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate resolution in a timely manner.
