Job summary

VDI Australia is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operator to coordinate daily warehousing activities, including receipt, storage and dispatch of parts. The role emphasizes accurate inventory, safety compliance and orderly processes across Australia’s bus and coach parts network.

The ideal candidate has proven warehouse experience, familiarity with modern practices, strong time management and the ability to lift heavy objects.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker/Operator.
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Current forklift licence (desirable).
• Excellent communication skills – both written and oral.
• Ethical and trustworthy, results-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute daily warehousing activities.
• Ensure receipt, storage and dispatch of parts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Uphold workplace health and safety and CoR requirements.
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup.
• Receive and process warehouse stock and locate in store.
• Conduct rolling cycle counts and stock takes.
• Ensure timely processing and dispatch of customer orders.
