Alpha Supply in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operator - Receiving to ensure safe, accurate and efficient receipt of goods into the warehouse. You will check deliveries, unload, record receipts and maintain stock accuracy while supporting lean initiatives and a safe working environment.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in a similar role, a current driver’s and forklift licence, and a strong eye for detail.

Formación

• 2+ years experience in a similar role/industry.
• Physically fit with ability to move stock.
• A current unencumbered driver’s licence and forklift licence.
• Deadline-driven with good time management and prioritisation.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Receive incoming deliveries in accordance with warehouse procedures.
• Unload trucks and containers safely and efficiently.
• Check incoming goods against purchase orders, delivery dockets and packing slips.
• Inspect goods for damage, shortages or discrepancies.
• Record and process receipts in the WMS/ERP system.
• Move stock to correct storage or staging locations.
• Ensure goods stored safely in designated locations.
• Participate in cycle counts and stocktakes.
• Attend toolbox meetings and contribute to lean initiatives.

With Alpha Supply expanding into Brisbane through the opening of a new warehouse, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Operator - Receiving to help establish strong site operations and support the next stage of our growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Operator - Recieving to join a successful, growing business!

The role is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient receipt of incoming goods into the warehouse. This role ensures deliveries are checked, recorded, unloaded, and put away correctly, while maintaining stock accuracy, housekeeping, and safety standards. If you are detail orientated and are physically fit, this is the role for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming deliveries in accordance with warehouse procedures
• Unload trucks and containers safely and efficiently
• Check incoming goods against purchase orders, delivery dockets, and packing slip
• Inspect goods for damage, shortages, over-supply, or discrepancies
• Accurately record and process receipts in the warehouse management system or ERP system
• Move received stock to the correct storage or staging locations
• Ensure goods are stored safely and in designated warehouse locations
• Participate in cycle counts and stocktakes as required
• Attend regular toolbox meetings, proactively contribute to lean implementation tasks and the team's development

Skills and Experience

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role/industry
• Physically fit with the ability to move stock in adherence with OHS and manual handling techniques
• A current unencumbered driver's and forklift licence
• A deadline driven individual with effective time management and prioritisation skills
• Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• A strong communicator with well developed interpersonal and engagement skills
• Experience with warehouse management systems will be highly regarded
