Job summary

Private Advertiser in Victoria is seeking a Senior Warehouse Operator to support daily warehouse operations and, during absences, act as Warehouse Supervisor. The role includes coordinating functions and ensuring safety and efficiency across the Victorian warehouse.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 6:30am–2:30pm. The ideal candidate will have forklift certification, strong communication, autonomy, team leadership, OH&S knowledge, and the ability to resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.

• Proven experience in supervising staff.
• Forklift licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate all warehouse functions for the Victorian Warehouse.
• Temporarily assume the responsibilities of the Warehouse Supervisor when they are not available.
• Pick and pack orders.
• Follow instructions as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Load/unload trucks and stage customer orders.
• Unload containers.
• Coordinate staff in the warehouse with planned activities.
• Help resolve warehouse problems or complaints.
• Comply with OH&S standards within the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean warehouse and perform other duties as required.

About the Role:

As the Senior Warehouse Operator, reporting to the Victorian Warehouse Supervisor, you will assist in coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Victorian warehouse to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of all warehouse functions. You will also act in the role of the Warehouse Supervisor during periods of leave or other absences, ensuring continuity of operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate all warehouse functions for our Victorian Warehouse
• Temporarily assume the responsibilities of the Warehouse Supervisor when they are not available
• Pick and pack orders
• Follow instructions as directed by the warehouse supervisor
• Loading/unloading of trucks and staging Customer orders
• Unloading containers
• Co-ordinate staff in the warehouse in-line with planned activities
• Help resolve any arising warehouse problems or complaints
• Comply with OH&S standards within the warehouse
• Maintain a clean warehouse
• Other duties as may be reasonably associated and expected with the position taking into consideration your skills and experience
