Job summary

NorthStone Talent Partners in Sydney CBD NSW is seeking a Mandarin-speaking Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end operational excellence across a national logistics network. The role focuses on SOP standards, parcel tracking accuracy, and on-site compliance.

You will map and improve warehouse processes, develop training, and establish classification standards for exception parcels while coordinating with customer service, transport and claims teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, warehouse or transport operations.
• Ability to draft SOPs, process flow charts, and checklists.
• Familiar with tracking management rules and exception handling.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with WMS/TMS or ERP systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end operational excellence across a national logistics network.
• Drive SOP standards, exception parcel resolution and tracking accuracy.
• Lead the mapping and continuous improvement of end-to-end warehouse processes, including SOP development, training and on-site compliance checks.
• Establish classification standards and manage the resolution process for exception parcels (damaged, missing, misdirected, refused, out of area).
• Analyse exception parcel trends and drive corrective action with customer service, transport and claims teams.
• Own the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of end-to-end parcel tracking, resolving scan gaps and tracking exceptions.
• Design and manage a performance framework covering SOP compliance, irregularity resolution and tracking completeness.
• Build and maintain operations dashboards to monitor key metrics and drive improvement.
• Manage team training, performance and safety standards.

About You

• Previous experience in logistics, warehouse or transport operations
• Able to independently draft SOPs, process flow charts and checklists.
• Familiar with tracking management rules and exception handling.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with WMS, TMS or ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong on-site management, communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
