• Experience in operations/logistics/supply chain, customer service, or admin roles.
• Ability to analyse data to identify trends and drive improvements.

• Proactive, self-driven and able to work independently.

This role sits within the logistics operations team, with end to end ownership of the claims function. You will own claims policy from design through to rollout, build the compliance framework that protects the business from payout risk, and turn claims data into daily, weekly and monthly reporting that surfaces where the network is losing money. Using these insights, you will lead improvement projects from concept to delivery, drive efficiency through better tooling and workflow automation, and be measured on per parcel claims cost and claims rate performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and maintain national claims policy, balancing customer experience against claims cost
• Communicate policy changes and updates clearly across the business to ensure consistent application
• Build and maintain a compliance monitoring framework to safeguard against payout risk and financial loss
• Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports on claims rate, claims value, and high risk categories, routes and depots
• Analyse claims data to identify systemic weak points and target improvement efforts at the source
• Lead the design, rollout and evaluation of claims improvement initiatives to reduce cost and lift customer outcomes
• Own per parcel claims cost and claims rate targets, reporting on performance against benchmarks
• Map the end to end claims SOP to surface inefficiencies and streamline the process
• Support cross functional teams with claims related queries to ensure timely resolution and consistent policy interpretation

About You

• Previous experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, customer service, or administrative support roles
• Data analysis skills, to identify trends and drive process improvements
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills including reporting, reconciliations and spreadsheet management
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues, identify solutions and make sound decisions.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently
