Job summary

Bunnings is seeking an Assistant Site Manager in Adelaide to oversee daily operations, drive sales, and manage stock across a high-volume store. You will report to the Site Manager and lead 180+ staff including department managers, supervisors, and forklift drivers, ensuring a safe, engaging customer experience.

You’ll shape strategies with department teams, monitor safety, liaise with distribution centers, and align with our long-term growth plans for the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Experience leading 50+ team members.
• Proven focus on safety and wellbeing in teams.
• Solid understanding of retail operations and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 50+ direct reports, ensuring safety and engagement.
• Open/close store duties and weekend rosters.
• Monitor sales, margins and wages; implement improvements.
• Develop Department Managers and coach performance.
• Drive stock accuracy and lead stocktake activities.
• Maintain high Customer Satisfaction and Team Engagement.
