Job summary

Kinexus is seeking a motivated Warehouse/Logistics professional to join our NSW-based team. You will handle goods received and shipped, and maintain related records in a defence-focused logistics environment.

The role requires hands-on material validation, cycle counting, SAP updates, and close collaboration with engineering, production control, and support personnel to ensure safety, accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, logistics and operations.
• Defence industry experience preferred.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Validate materials, post cycle counts and update SAP records.
• Coordinate with engineering, production control and support staff to resolve issues.
• Meet safety, inventory management and compliance requirements.
• Monitor SAP transfer orders and move materials as needed.
• Accept deliveries and verify goods on receipt.
• Package and ship goods accurately and maintain inventory records.

Job description

Our client is seeking a motivated Warehouse/Logistics professional to join their team based in NSW.

The client is a highly regarded multi-national Defence company who provide logistics support to the Australian Defence sector.

The role is in charge of the handling and processing of goods received and shipped by the company and the maintenance of all related records.

The role:

• Validating Materials, posting cycle counts and completing systematic updates in SAP.


• Work closely with engineering, production control and all other support personnel to resolve problems.


• Meet safety, inventory management, and compliance requirements.


• Monitor service/transfer orders and move material within SAP.


• Perform physical validation of materials.


• Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow-ups.


• Required to accept deliveries of goods into the company and verify deliveries.


• Wrap, package or create goods for shipment and ensure accuracy.


• Inventory Management, may incur project and program management responsibilities with inventory management.


• Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE

• Hands-on and self‑motivated, with attention to detail, preferably with experience in the defence industry.


• Qualifications related to the supply chain / logistics and operations related industry.

This role requires candidates who will take a pragmatic approach, have a problem solving ability and a good communication style.
