Job summary

Toll Government & Defence is seeking a reliable Storeperson to join our warehouse team at Moorebank Military Area, supporting Defence logistics. The role involves receipt, storage, handling and dispatch of Defence inventory in a secure environment, with a strong safety focus.

Australian citizenship is essential and the successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance. LF forklift licence preferred, but not essential, and experience with WMS is valued.

Qualifications

• Current LF Forklift Licence (preferred but not essential).
• Previous warehouse, logistics or storeperson experience.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Sound knowledge of inventory control and stock management processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Commitment to workplace safety and operational compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (MHE).
• Receiving, inspecting and storing incoming goods.
• Picking, packing and dispatching freight and inventory.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Conducting stock control and inventory management activities.
• Supporting loading and unloading operations.
• Following Defence, safety and operational compliance requirements.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.

At Toll Government & Defence, we deliver critical logistics and supply chain services that support Defence operations across Australia. We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Storeperson to join our warehousing and logistics team based at Moorebank Military Area.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment where your contribution directly supports the movement and management of Defence equipment and supplies. Due to the nature of the work, Australian Citizenship is essential, and the successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Storeperson, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, handling and distribution of Defence-related inventory and assets. Responsibilities include:
