Job summary

Labourpower Recruitment Services Pty Ltd in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Inventory Officer to support day-to-day operations of a large transport and container company at the Port of Brisbane.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with WMS systems in an RF environment, strong Excel skills and an ability to work with minimal supervision; forklift licence is desirable but not essential. A can-do attitude and commitment to accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• Sound experience in WMS systems in an RF environment.
• Sound experience within the Logistics industry preferably in a 3PL environment with focus on inventory management functions.
• High Reach/Counter Balance Forklift licence highly desirable but not essential
• Advanced MS Excel and MS Office user
• Ability to meet the roles responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure integrity of specific client inventory held at site
• Identify and investigate all stock discrepancies and reporting as required
• Co-ordinate daily cycle counts and wall to wall storage location checks to ensure integrity of client inventory nationally
• Assist with stock takes, including scheduling, updating procedures and reconciliation resources
• Maintains WMS database in terms of parity between systems and report KPI variances
• Monitor and deliver on all relevant inventory KPIs and report to internal stakeholders and the customer
• Assist with training of inventory control concepts and methods of measurement and improvement
