Job summary

Cleared Recruitment is seeking an experienced Logistics specialist in Canberra with a firm understanding of MILIS and ERP systems to support integrated logistics in the Defence sector.

The role involves codification, cataloguing, NSN submissions, and ERP catalogue management, with a focus on NCAGE code accuracy and freight movement requisitions. Australian citizenship and AGSVA clearance NV1 are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with MILIS.
• Strong understanding of cataloguing and codification.
• Experience in Defence Logistics environment.
• High attention to detail.
• Understanding of NSN.
• Experience with DEF-AUST 1000C desirable.

Job description

Are you an experienced Logistics professional with a firm background in integrated logistics support within the Defence industry? We currently have a need for a Logistics specialist with a firm understanding of MILIS and ERP systems based in Canberra.

The successful candidate will have proven experience conducting Materiel Codification Catalogue activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct asset stocktaking
• Management of temporary issue stores including use, storage, condition and return compliance
• Conduct codification and cataloguing
• Submitting request for Nato Stock Numbers (NSN) to the national codification bureau using MC CAT
• Maintaining ERP catalogue management
• keep manufacturer/supplier NATO Commercial and Government Entity (NCAGE) codes accurate within ERP records
• Raise movement requisition orders for freight

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience with MILIS
• Strong understanding of cataloguing and codification
• Previous experience working withing a Defence Logistics environment
• High attention to detail
• Understanding of NSN
• Experience with DEF-AUST 1000C desirable

Due to the nature of this role candidate will require to hold Australian citizenship and hold a current AGSVA clearance ideally NV1.
