Job summary

DiggerLid in Melbourne seeks a Warehouse Operations Coordinator to be the backbone of the operation, ensuring gear enters, is checked, fixed up, and exits on time. You will keep the warehouse clean and efficient, working with documented processes while using judgement for edge cases. Shopify experience is a plus in this role.

The position requires hands-on handling of gear, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safe, organized storage and timely dispatches from the Melbourne warehouse.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence and hands-on warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift heavy gear and stay physically fit.
• Strong attention to detail to avoid misstocking or mistakes.
• Comfort following documented processes while applying judgement for edge cases.
• Shopify or similar inventory system experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Accept incoming deliveries with forklift and check against PO and quality.
• Update inventory in Shopify.
• Palletise and load outbound shipments for courier pickup.
• Process returns and exchanges and inspect condition.
• Print wholesale POs, hand off to Pick/Pack, and process invoicing after shipment.
• Keep warehouse organized, safe, and stock easy to locate.
• Flag stock discrepancies, damaged freight, or anomalies.

Warehouse Operations Coordinator to be the physical backbone of the Melbourne operation: the person making sure gear gets in, gets checked, gets fixed up, and gets back out the door correctly and on time. As well as keeping the warehouse clean, efficient and running like a well oiled machine.

Key responsibilities

• Accept incoming deliveries with forklift, check against PO, quality inspection
• Update inventory in Shopify
• Palletise and load outbound wholesale/bulk shipments for courier pickup
• Process returns and exchanges — inspect condition, sort stock
• Print wholesale POs, hand off to Pick/Pack team, and process invoicing once shipped
• Keep the warehouse organised, safe, and easy for anyone to find stock in
• Flag stock discrepancies, damaged freight, or anything that doesn't add up

About you

• Current forklift licence and hands-on experience
• Physical fitness — gear is large and heavy, and this is a hands-on role
• Sharp attention to detail — restocking the wrong item to the wrong shelf costs real money
• Comfortable following a documented process, but happy to use judgement on the edge cases
• Shopify or similar inventory/order system experience highly regarded
