Job summary

Only Lovers Left in Port Macquarie is seeking a casual Warehouse Assistant to help pick, pack and dispatch online orders. You will work alongside our Warehouse Coordinator and enjoy varied shifts during launches and busy periods.

You should have experience in a warehouse or eCommerce fulfilment, an eye for detail, and be comfortable standing for long periods. Training will cover packaging quality, stock handling and safe workspace practices.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or eCommerce fulfilment experience essential
• An eye for detail and the ability to keep pace during busy periods
• Reliable, proactive and happy working independently or with the crew
• Confident with basic computer systems; dispatch or scanner experience a plus
• Comfortable being on your feet and safely moving stock
• Flexible availability, especially around launches and sales

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing orders, checking styles, sizes, colours and quantities
• Making sure every parcel meets our presentation standards, with the right packaging, labels and inserts
• Helping meet daily dispatch deadlines while keeping accuracy and care front of mind
• Receiving and checking deliveries, putting stock away and replenishing picking locations
• Helping with stock counts and keeping products organised and easy to find
• Flagging stock discrepancies, damaged items or order issues to our Warehouse Coordinator
• Assisting with returns and other warehouse tasks as they come up
• Keeping packing supplies topped up and your workspace clean and safe

Job description

Working alongside our Warehouse Coordinator, you'll help pick, pack and dispatch online orders, handle incoming stock and keep our warehouse organised. You'll already know your way around a warehouse or eCommerce fulfilment environment and enjoy the satisfaction of getting orders out accurately, beautifully packed and on time. This is a casual role with hours that vary depending on order volumes. We'll need extra hands around collection launches, sales and busy dispatch periods, so flexibility is important.
