Job summary

Henry Buck Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced casual Warehouse Assistant to support our warehouse to store network. The role offers 20–30 hours per week at casual rate, with duties including picking, packing, stock handling, and deliveries using the company van.

You will work with luxury brands, ensure safety and accuracy, coordinate with freight forwarders, and assist with stock-takes while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Team-oriented warehouse experience is preferred.
• WMS knowledge or willingness to learn a new system.
• Valid Australian driver's license is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day warehouse operations, including picking and packing orders.
• Assist warehouse order fulfilment and delivery/receipt of goods from overseas.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and maintain safe, efficient distribution.
• Manage inventory and ensure timely delivery to stores.
• Support stock-takes and the shipment delivery schedule.
• Promote WHS policies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Henry Buck Pty Ltd have an exciting opportunity for an experienced casual Warehouse Assistant to join our team! This role offers a unique chance to be part of a company with a rich history and heritage, working with luxury brands and customers. You will support the Warehouse Manager in processing products from our warehouse to our store network.

We have casual opportunities available up to 20 to 30 hours on casual rate.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day warehouse operations, including picking and packing orders.
• Assist warehouse order fulfilment.
• Assist with the delivery and receipt of goods sourced from overseas, coordinating with freight forwarders.
• Ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operation of the distribution center.
• Coordinate daily activities such as receiving and storing goods, managing inventory levels, and ensuring efficient delivery to stores.
• Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Coordinate the put-away, replenishment, and picking of stock for store delivery.
• Deliver stock to stores as needed, using the company van.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Policies, Human Resources Policies, and WHS responsibilities, and promote awareness among team members.
• Support stock-takes with external companies and the Finance team.
• Support a shipment delivery schedule.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in apparel warehousing (highly desirable).
• Ability to quickly acquire knowledge of a new Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Valid Australian Driver's License (mandatory); LO/LF licenses (preferred).
• Attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to identify and communicate desired business initiatives.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with multiple competing priorities.
