Job summary

Capital Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Store person for our Mulgrave facility in Melbourne. You will handle receipt, despatch and ongoing management of client goods in line with our quality standards and clients’ requirements.

Key duties include picking, packing and despatch, verifying stock with manual checks, safe storage and forklift operation. Experience with a WMS and RF scanners is beneficial in this role.

Qualifications

• Valid Forklift Licence (LF), High-Reach and carton clamp experience preferred but not essential.
• Physical capacity to regularly lift up to 25kgs.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Counter balance forklift experience.
• Experience unloading/loading trucks and containers.
• Previous experience in a similar role and experience using a WMS desired, however not essential.
• Exceptional work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist with picking, packing and despatch of client orders.
• Perform manual checks on incoming goods to ensure stock accuracy and damage-free items.
• Ensure goods are stored safely and in efficient locations; operate a forklift.
• Assist with general warehouse housekeeping.
• Liaise with sub-contractor owner drivers to ensure safe loading/unloading and restraint of goods.
• Use Warehouse Management System (WMS) and RF scanners.

As the Warehouse Store person working out of our Mulgrave facility, you will be responsible for the receipt, despatch and ongoing management of our customers goods in accordance with our quality standards and that of our clients.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the picking, packing and despatch of client orders;
• Performing manual checks on all incoming goods to ensure stock levels are accurate and goods are free from damage;
• Ensuring goods are stored safely and in the most efficient location. You will be required to operate a forklift in this position;
• Assisting with general warehouse housekeeping;
• Liaising with sub-contractor owner drivers, to ensure the loading, unloading and restraint of goods is in accordance with safety requirements; and
• Use of our Warehouse Management System and RF scanners.
