Job summary

AWCON Pty Ltd is expanding its Western Australian operations and seeking a senior leader to manage the WA region. You will oversee major civil, construction and mining projects for Tier 1 clients, and build a high-performing team with the backing of head office.

You will report to the COO, drive safety culture, manage budgets and schedules, and grow AWCON’s presence in the WA market through strong client relationships and strategic bids.

Qualifications

• Senior operations leader with a proven track record delivering WA civil, construction or mining projects.
• Minimum 4 years post-trade experience in a related industry.
• Experience leading projects and teams for Tier 1 clients.
• Experience managing operational systems, reporting and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead WA operations and regional systems, reporting and budget.
• Deliver for Tier 1 clients, ensuring safety, schedule and budget goals.
• Build and lead the WA team by mobilising supervisors, trades and project managers.
• Drive safety performance as the on-site safety leader.
• Grow AWCON’s WA presence through client relationships and bid strategy.
• Aim for repeat business by delivering high-value project outcomes.
