Job summary

ACOR Consultants is seeking an experienced Principal Civil Engineer to establish and grow our Civil Engineering capability in Western Australia. Based in our new Perth office, you will build client relationships, develop a local high‑performing team and deliver multidisciplinary Civil projects with autonomy and accountability.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering with CPEng (or actively working towards).
• Proven experience delivering complex Civil projects from concept through to completion.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the establishment and growth of ACOR's Civil Engineering capability in Perth.
• Build, mentor and develop a high-performing local Civil team aligned with ACOR's national standards, culture and technical excellence.
• Develop strong relationships with clients, contractors, government agencies and industry partners to drive sustainable business growth.
• Identify and secure new project opportunities while supporting the continued expansion of ACOR's Western Australian presence.
• Lead and contribute to the delivery of complex multidisciplinary Civil projects, ensuring high-quality technical outcomes.
• Oversee project performance, resourcing, commercial outcomes and risk management across the local project portfolio.
• Collaborate closely with ACOR's national Civil team to leverage technical expertise, resources and project opportunities.
• Contribute to strategic planning and the long-term growth of ACOR's Western Australian business.
