Job summary

Arup in Perth seeks a WA Defence Leader to drive growth, pursuit and delivery of defence projects across Western Australia, shaping strategy and expanding Arup's presence in defence infrastructure. Lead development and execution of the defence growth strategy in WA, direct pursuit and delivery of projects with commercial excellence, and mentor multidisciplinary teams to strengthen capability.

Interstate candidates with WA defence experience are welcome; Chartered Engineer status and Baseline or

Qualifications

10–15+ years defence industry experience with procurement, project delivery and contract administration.
Security clearance: Baseline or NV1 or eligible to obtain.
Proven leadership of multidisciplinary defence projects from pursuit to delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead development and execution of WA defence growth strategy.
Direct pursuit, bidding and delivery of defence projects with commercial excellence.
Mentor multidisciplinary teams and build defence capability in WA.
Collaborate with ANZ Defence Leader and regional leaders to secure opportunities.
Represent Arup in defence market with client engagement and partnerships.
