You will bring strong project leadership experience and have a genuine opportunity to help grow our WA environmental capability and business.

The Opportunity

  • Lead environmental inputs within multidisciplinary teams and act as Project Manager on environmental projects, coordinating people and resources within programme, budget, client and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and review project reports, clearly communicate environmental outcomes and provide strategic advice to clients on effective approval pathways and project outcomes.
  • Lead, mentor and support junior environmental team members while contributing to a collaborative and growing WA environmental practice.

At Arup, you belong to an extraordinary collective - in which we encourage individuality to thrive. Our strength comes from how we respect, share and connect our diverse experiences, perspectives and ideas.

Is this role right for you?

  • Strong experience leading environmental impact assessment and statutory approval projects, ideally within Western Australia but Australia-wide experience will also be considered favorably.
  • Strong terrestrial environmental expertise is preferred, ideally developed through work on linear transport and/or land-based infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across complex programmes and competing priorities.
  • Strong client relationship and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and strategic environmental advice.
  • A genuine interest in helping grow Arup’s environmental capability and market presence in Western Australia, while contributing to regional projects across APAC.
