Job summary

Arup Perth is seeking a Senior Engineer – Bridges & Civil Structures to lead design and delivery of major bridge projects across transport, water, energy and resources sectors.

You will mentor engineers, manage multidisciplinary teams, and build strong client relationships while overseeing design through construction support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering with 8+ years' experience delivering bridge and civil structures projects within an Australian consulting environment
• CPEng (or eligibility for registration) is required or pending
• Strong knowledge of Australian bridge design standards, MRWA and PTA requirements
• Experience delivering MRWA projects including ETS/BDS panels
• Proficiency with structural analysis and design software (GSA/Strand7/SpaceGass/Midas/Autodesk SBD)

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, analysis and design of bridges and civil structures on medium to large multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects
• Manage project delivery, coordinating resources, budgets, technical reviews and quality processes
• Provide technical leadership by mentoring team members and reviewing designs
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and stakeholders in project meetings and build relationships
• Oversee site inspections, construction support and delivery during construction
