Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Vice President, Coverage Banker to lead a portfolio of ASX Top 300 clients in the Australian Natural Resources sector, based in Perth. You will deepen relationships, originate opportunities, and expand the corporate banking franchise across Western Australia.

You will manage credit, financing and cross-sell initiatives while coordinating with product and investment banking partners to deliver structured solutions in a growing office environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in corporate banking with Natural Resources sector coverage.
• Strong understanding of Australian Natural Resources sector dynamics and clients.
• Proven track record in originating and managing senior corporate relationships.
• Extensive knowledge of credit, funding, structured solutions, markets, risk management and investment products.
• Results-driven with ability to originate, develop and manage client relationships at senior levels.
• Credit trained with experience in leveraged loans for M&A, IPOs and related deals.

Responsibilities

• Originate and manage a portfolio of 25–30 ASX Top 300-listed clients with focus on Natural Resources.
• Leverage sector knowledge to identify and pursue new business opportunities in WA.
• Develop portfolio coverage strategy, sector priorities and product focus for the Australian market.
• Collaborate with product and investment banking teams to execute cross-sell strategies.
• Lead credit-related work streams and secure approvals through governance processes.
• Analyze client needs to address using JPMorgan’s corporate banking solutions (financing, treasury, risk management, asset management).
• Support establishment and growth of JPMorgan’s corporate banking presence from the Perth office.
