Job summary

Corangamite Shire is seeking a casual Visitor Information Officer based in Port Campbell to provide high-quality customer service and promote local attractions across the Shire. You will engage with visitors, share regional insights and assist with events to enhance visitor experiences.

The role requires experience in customer service, strong communication, and digital literacy. A Victorian Driver’s Licence and clearances are preferred; the position covers multiple locations within the Shire and

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service role.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and deliver high-quality customer service to visitors, industry and stakeholders through face-to-face, mobile and roving, events and other visitor touchpoints.
• Demonstrated digital literacy, with the ability to effectively use a range of software, online platforms and digital tools, and the ability to adapt to new systems.
• Qualifications in tourism or a related discipline are desirable.
• A current Victorian Driver’s Licence, recent National Police Check and Working with Children check, or the ability to obtain.
