North Ballarat Sports Club Pty Ltd in Ballarat, Victoria is seeking a Venue Supervisor to oversee daily operations across bar, bistro, function and gaming areas. You will lead, support and motivate staff to maintain high service standards while ensuring compliance with RSA, RSG and gaming regulations.

The role requires experience in a busy club or similar hospitality setting, current RSA/RSG modules and Victorian Gaming Licence, and the ability to work nights, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience as Venue Supervisor, Duty Manager or senior hospitality team member.
• Experience in a busy club, pub, RSL or similar hospitality environment.
• Current RSA, RSG modules and Victorian Gaming Licence (essential).
• Ability to work nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Sound understanding of gaming compliance and responsible service requirements.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Reporting to management, you will help oversee daily venue operations, support and lead staff, deliver excellent customer service and ensure the Club operates safely, efficiently and in line with all relevant regulations and procedures. With gaming, bistro, bar and functions operations, this is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment, leading a team and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the venue.

Key responsibilities

About you

• Previous experience as a Venue Supervisor, Duty manager or senior hospitality team member
• Experience in a busy club, pub, RSL or similar hospitality environment
• Holds a current RSA, RSG modules and relevant Victorian Gaming Industry Employee Licence (essential)
• The ability to work nights, weekends and public holidays
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• A sound understanding of gaming compliance and responsible service requirements
• The ability to work independently, make sound decisions and manage competing priorities
• The ability to be flexible, organised and willing to lead by example
• Excellent customer service and creating a positive team environment

Competitive salary of $76,000 per annum plus Super

Five weeks of annual leave per year

A rotating roster over mornings, evenings and weekends that includes a full weekend off every three weeks
