Job summary

Hyatt Regency Sydney is seeking a Venue Sales Manager to maximise revenue by promoting our diverse Food & Beverage venues and offerings. You will build relationships with existing and prospective clients and ensure venues are utilised to their best advantage.

You will stay aligned with market trends to position Hyatt Regency Sydney as a destination of innovative and engaging experiences for both business and leisure guests.

Qualifications

• Experience in Food & Beverage Operations & Sales.

Responsibilities

• Assisted by the Director of Food & Beverage, developing the event venue sales plan to support the overall hotel revenue.
• Sourcing new markets and acquiring accounts by conducting calls, site inspections, and entertaining in the Hotel.
• Liaising closely with other departments within the hotel to ensure efficient and regular communication of sales activities.
• Ensuring all competitor activity, industry intelligence and market trends that may impact the hotel are reported and handled appropriately.
• Managing day-to-day administration including telephone inquiries, proposals and maintenance of accounts.
