Job summary

Crown Resorts in Western Australia seeks an experienced Venue Supervisor to lead operations at 1520 Crown Perth and support the Urban Food District. The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in bar and premium hospitality, strong knowledge of beverages, and a proven ability to motivate staff.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience within a bar, cocktail lounge, premium hospitality venue, or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of beverage operations, cocktails, wine, and responsible service practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Flexibility to work across a rotating 24/7 roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

• Lead day-to-day operations within 1520, ensuring exceptional service standards and guest satisfaction.
• Support operational requirements across the Urban Food District as required.
• Coach, develop and motivate team members to deliver outstanding hospitality experiences.
• Ensure compliance with responsible service of alcohol, licensing requirements, and Crown policies.
• Drive bar service excellence, product knowledge, and beverage-focused guest engagement.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and operational readiness.
• Assist with staffing, service planning, and venue performance initiatives.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Venue Supervisor to join our team in a unique leadership role. This position will primarily oversee operations within 1520, Crown Perth's premium speakeasy-style venue, while also providing leadership support across the Urban Food District. Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, you will lead front-line teams, deliver exceptional guest experiences, drive operational excellence, and ensure the highest standards of service across both bar and food & beverage operations. The role is ideally suited to a hospitality professional with a strong bar background who enjoys leading teams and creating memorable guest experiences.
