Job summary

Grand Pacific Group is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager for The Marion in Canberra. You will lead day-to-day operations for high tea, weddings, corporate functions and private events, while managing front-of-house staff and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will drive revenue, monitor costs and ensure WHS and RSA compliance, with a hands-on leadership style during nights and peak periods.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Restaurant/Venue/Events Manager in premium hospitality.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and peak periods.
• ACT RSA certification.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day operations across high tea, weddings, corporate functions and private events.
• Lead, roster, train and develop front-of-house team.
• Work closely with the General Manager, Events and Kitchen to ensure smooth events.
• Keep service standards and venue presentation high, and handle guest feedback.
• Drive revenue, control costs and manage compliance (WHS, RSA).
