Job summary

Mingara on the Central Coast invites energetic people to join our Security team. We offer casual opportunities across nights and weekends, with a clear path to learn and grow within a hospitality-focused club that serves a diverse community.

As a security team member, you will help create a safe, welcoming environment for members and guests, ensure entry compliance, and respond calmly to incidents while upholding discretion and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must hold NSW 1AC Security License (not provisional).
• RSA, RCG and First Aid certificates.
• General knowledge of hospitality operations and guiding legislation.
• Ability to work independently and handle difficult situations.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Who are we?

We are Mingara, the greatest Club on the Central Coast, offering a diverse range of facilities. We are looking for an energetic and motivated person to join our Security team. We have casual opportunities that would suit someone who is either looking to build a career within hospitality or looking for a secure and stable position within our organisation. You can be great within our security team and will also have opportunities to grow and develop into other areas and learn new skills.

To succeed in this role

You must hold a full New South Wales 1AC Security License (provisional licenses will not be accepted).

Current RSA, RCG and First Aid certificates

General knowledge and experience of hospitality operations and guiding legislation

Confidence to work independently, think on your feet, resolve issues and manage tricky situations

A high degree of discretion, integrity and confidentiality

Must be able to engage in and maintain conversations with guests

Availability to work a flexible schedule especially nights and weekends (mostly Friday and Saturday nights)
