Job summary

Afterpay Arena in Sydney is seeking an experienced Building Services Manager to join our Operations team. Reporting to the Assets Manager, you will coordinate maintenance and operation of the Arena's building services, plant, equipment and infrastructure, supporting the safe and seamless delivery of concerts, sporting events and live entertainment.

Qualifications

• Experience in building services, facilities management or building maintenance.
• Knowledge of BCMS, FMX and asset management systems.
• Experience coordinating contractors, service providers and suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem solving skills.
• Confident using Microsoft Office.
• Holds a current NSW Driver’s Licence.
• Be available to work evenings, weekends, public holidays and event days when required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance across the Arena.
• Manage the asset register and maintenance schedules.
• Monitor and operate building systems, including BCMS, electrical, lighting and refrigeration.
• Assist with the management of Presentation Services operations by working closely with Arena's contracted cleaning service provider.
• Support utilities, sustainability and environmental initiatives.
• Assist with capital works and maintenance projects.
• Maintain accurate asset, maintenance and compliance records.
• Coordinate post-event inspections and damage reporting.
• Support event operations and deputise for the Assets Manager when required.
