Job summary

Afterpay Arena is seeking an experienced Building Services Manager to join our Operations team. This role coordinates maintenance of building services, plant, equipment and infrastructure to deliver safe, seamless concerts, sports and live entertainment.

Reporting to the Assets Manager, you will oversee preventative and reactive maintenance, asset registers, building systems and capital works while supporting event operations and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in building services, facilities management or building maintenance.
• Knowledge of BCMS, FMX and asset management systems.
• Experience coordinating contractors, service providers and suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem solving skills.
• Holds a current NSW Driver’s Licence.
• Be available to work evenings, weekends, public holidays and event days when required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance across the Arena.
• Manage the asset register and maintenance schedules.
• Monitor and operate building systems, including BCMS, electrical, lighting and refrigeration.
• Assist with the management of Presentation Services operations by working closely with Arena's contracted cleaning service provider.
• Support utilities, sustainability and environmental initiatives.
• Assist with capital works and maintenance projects.
• Maintain accurate asset, maintenance and compliance records.
• Coordinate post-event inspections and damage reporting.
• Support event operations and deputise for the Assets Manager when required.
