Job summary

Sydney Showground is seeking a proactive Floor Manager to coordinate and oversee the successful delivery of events across our world-class venue precinct. You will be the primary on-site contact for clients, ensuring their requirements are met while maintaining high standards of presentation, safety and service delivery.

Working closely with clients, contractors and internal teams, you will manage event setup, crowd management, ticketing, patron movement, signage and contractor activities, while

Qualifications

• Proven ability in venue operations, event delivery, and customer service supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience with safety compliance and risk management.
• Proven ability to lead and supervise casual staff or contractors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee event operations across the venue.
• Act as primary on-site contact for clients during events to ensure service excellence.
• Manage venue presentation, crowd management, ticketing, signage, and contractor activities.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, event staff and internal departments to resolve issues.
• Maintain Workplace Health and Safety standards and manage operational risks.

Education

Tertiary qualification in Venue Management or Event Management
